Have a seat!!

Aren't they adorable!!

They are so fun and easy to make!

I found the pattern on :                                                               http://www.simplesimonandco.com/2011/06/summer-camp-chair-tutorial-that-you-can.html

But here are a few adjustments I made.
the 7" pieces I cut at 71/2" to hold in place better.

Then I made the smaller chair by cutting the 15" pieces at
12" instead and cut the 10" pieces at 9" and the
7" pieces  at 6 1/2".
So Cute!!!

I got all me supplies at  Home Depot and they even cut the pieces right there for me!!
Could not have been any easier!

** Make sure and get a locking washer for the bolts!  Mine kept coming loose whenever
I opened and closed the chairs!
(I couldn't stop playing with them, hahaha)

I can't wait till my nieces and nephews come and try them out!

Summer is a sizzling!

It was way to hot to do anything outside!!

So I decided to make some homemade jam!!

Pina colada jam!!

I found this recipe in a "Taste of home canning magazine"

It is a very easy recipe. All you need is a few simple ingredients.

6  cups sugar
6 cups shredded peeled zucchini
1 can (8 oz ) crushed pineapple undrained
1/4 cup lime juice
2 packages (3 oz,) pineapple gelatin

In a large cooking pot, combine sugar, zucchini, pineapple and lime juice.  Bring to a boil.  Boil for 10 mins, stirring constantly.  Remove from heat; stir in gelatin until gelatin is dissolved.

Pour into jars or freezer containers, leaving 1/2 inch headspace.

Let cool completely before covering with lids.  Refrigerate for up to 3 weeks or freeze for up to 1 year.

Yields 3-1/2 pints
( I filled 9   8 oz. cups)

It was delicious!!
